About Me
I've been a designer for over 15 years, of those, 9 with financial services. I'm focused on experience design and have a MBA in Business Process with the goal of scaling up design solutions at a corporate level and better integrating them into all areas of the company.
I'm deeply involved in themes related to inclusion and accessibility, especially in the digital environment. At this moment, I'm part of a team that develops these topics inside XP Inc. I also have a parallel non-profit project called +Inclusivo ("more inclusive") that seeks to develop solutions for daily life problems of designers and educators.
In 2021, I received an award at XP Inc called "Mulheres que Transformam" (Women that Transform) - seven women were selected for their positive impacts at XP inc. We were nominated by our teams and selected by voting. I was nominated because of the accessibility and inclusion initiatives that I started and led on the technology team.
I'm the second of four siblings, I'm married and I have a four-legged son named Sonny - family is the main pillar of my life. I'm a curious person and I love studying, mainly to develop a multidisciplinary knowledge. I'm passionate about arts, which is my main hobby. I like traveling, animals and books. I'm interested in discovering new things, cultures and people, as I believe that different point of views of the world enhances my work, my personal development and my life goals.

Wow, my experience talking with Maju was incredible! I contacted her because I wanted to have a practical view of strategies and actionable when designing inclusive digital interfaces. 2 things really stuck with me after our talk. Maju is the best. She is very friendly and I like how she tells difficult things in inclusive design and accessibility in plain understandable language. It was an incredibly helpful session.
